The short version
There is no account, no sign-up, and no database. Your answers live in your browser tab and are sent to an AI provider so it can write your guide. Close the tab and your session is gone. If you want to keep your guide, download it.
What is collected
Your audit answers, kept in your browser's per-tab session storage so the session survives a page refresh. They are cleared when you close the tab and are never written to a database on this site.
Your consent acknowledgment, stored the same way and for the same lifetime.
Basic technical error reports, if something on the site breaks. These may include the error message, the page you were on, and browser details. They are used to fix faults, not to build a profile of you.
What is sent to the AI provider
To generate your conversation and your guide, the text you type during the session is transmitted to a third-party AI model provider. That transmission is necessary for the tool to work at all. Your answers are handled under that provider's own terms and data-handling practices while they are being processed. They are not sold, and they are not used to contact you.
Because your text leaves your browser, please do not enter passwords, payment details, government identifiers, health information, or confidential information about named clients or employees. Describe your situation in general terms — the audit works fine that way.
Cookies and tracking
No advertising cookies, no analytics profiling, no cross-site tracking pixels. The site uses browser storage only for the two purposes named above, plus your light or dark theme preference.
Sharing
Your answers are not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers. They reach only the AI provider that generates your guide, and the hosting infrastructure that serves the site. Information may be disclosed if required by law.
Your control
You hold the only lasting copy of your session. Closing the tab deletes it. Because nothing is stored on a server and nothing identifies you, there is no account to delete and no record to request — but if you have a question about your data, get in touch through the contact channel on the Customers Are Like Fish website.
Children
This tool is built for business owners and is not directed at anyone under 16. Please do not use it if you are under that age.
Changes
If how the site handles information changes, this page is updated and the date below changes with it.
